Job summary

Blayze Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager or Senior Estimator to lead data center preconstruction efforts. This role offers a clear route to Director-level leadership within a growing data center portfolio and a strong ownership structure.

The role focuses on estimating and preconstruction across Texas data center projects, with opportunities to shape strategy, drive value engineering, and mentor teams as the portfolio expands.

Qualifications

• Must have data center estimating or preconstruction experience within a General Contractor environment.
• Experience as a Senior Estimator, Preconstruction Manager or similar preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP-intensive construction and procurement strategy.
• Ability to lead estimates and communicate with senior project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates from conceptual budgeting through final pricing and GMP.
• Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans and preconstruction budgets.
• Manage subcontractor pricing, bid packages, scope reviews and bid leveling.
• Collaborate with operations, project leadership, design teams and clients throughout preconstruction.
• Provide value engineering, constructability and cost analysis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Dallas subcontractor market.
• Support pursuit strategy and project selection; contribute to long-term data center capability.
