Job summary

SLS Consultants LLC is seeking a seasoned preconstruction specialist in the United States to lead front-end cost planning for data center developments. You will collaborate with land acquisition, design, and engineering to shape budgets and assess development risks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of preconstruction experience in estimating, construction or development
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related area strongly preferred
• Data center, semiconductor or healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end preconstruction activities for data center development opportunities in Central and Western regions
• Develop preliminary construction estimates, budgets and cost forecasts
• Lead GC solicitation, obtain preliminary pricing and establish procurement strategies
• Review and analyse GC bids, evaluate pricing and commercial risks
• Develop and assess project schedules, milestones and delivery strategies
• Coordinate with development, design, engineering, finance and construction teams to refine scope and budgets
• Provide reporting on budgets, cost movements, and development risks with recommendations
