Job summary

Worldwide Mission Critical is seeking a Data Center Preconstruction Manager to lead GC procurement, cost management, and preconstruction oversight for mission-critical data center projects. You will drive RFP development, bid analysis, and GC selections, while coordinating with design and estimating teams to align procurement with budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in preconstruction, GC procurement, cost management, or estimating in data center or mission-critical markets.
Experience leading GC and trade partner procurement processes, including RFP development and award recommendations.
Strong understanding of GMP, CM-at-Risk, and Design-Build procurement methods.
Experience establishing deliverable frameworks for cost trending, risk management, and schedule management.
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, and cost management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and recommend procurement strategies for GC and trade partner selection based on project requirements.
Lead RFP development, bid leveling, evaluation, and GC selection.
Oversee preconstruction deliverables, including cost trends, risk registers, and schedules.
Coordinate with design, estimating, and project management teams to align procurement status with budgets.
Conduct constructability reviews and collaborate on value engineering solutions.
Travel to project sites for pre-bid walks, kick-off meetings, and milestones.
