Ramboll in the U.S. seeks a Power Systems Project Manager focused on data center power to own planning, scheduling, and delivery for a growing client portfolio.

You will align substation design, protection, and interconnection with client needs, guiding complex engagements from feasibility through delivery. You will partner with investors and developers, manage scope and budget, and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure constructible, compliant solutions while advancing Ramboll's data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience delivering power systems/infrastructure projects with ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or large-load client engagements preferred.
• Knowledge of substation design, generation/interconnection processes, and transmission planning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ISO/RTO interconnection queues (ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM) helpful.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage subconsultants.
• PMP certification or active pursuit is a plus; PE license is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with client advisory capability.
• Experience contributing to proposals, fee estimates, and business development.

Responsabilités

• Own project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center and mission-critical power engagements.
• Serve as primary client contact for developers, investors, and agencies—translating objectives into scope.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination across engineering disciplines to ensure constructible delivery.
• Manage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration.
• Support early-stage feasibility and pre-investment planning for data center sites.
• Identify and manage project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Lead preparation of proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and industry standards.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with interconnection teams.
