Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Site Acquisition Specialist to support capacity planning and acquire data center sites across assigned metros/regions. You will learn end-to-end lifecycle of deals, from market research through lease execution, while engaging with Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Compliance teams.

You will help analyze capacity needs, evaluate suppliers, track lease terms, and prepare materials for negotiations, contributing to a scalable hyper-scale data center footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
• Strong organization and ability to track multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable with cross-functional partners.
• Genuine interest in infrastructure, real estate, or data center markets.

Responsibilities

• Support capacity planning and site acquisition efforts in assigned metros/regions; learn end-to-end lifecycle of data center deals from market research to lease execution.
• Engage and evaluate qualified suppliers; support site acquisition/procurement including due-diligence tasks and documentation.
• Assist in managing the existing lease portfolio, tracking key terms, deadlines and renewal opportunities.
• Support cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Engineering, Compliance) in preparing materials for contract negotiations.
• Prepare deal summaries, lease abstracts, and cost analyses for senior review and decision-makers.
• Coordinate meeting logistics and documentation across stakeholders to keep deals moving toward execution.
