Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager to support substation construction projects nationwide.

Under direct supervision, you will plan, organize, and implement project management principles, gaining exposure to business operations, project execution, and stakeholder coordination on long-term onsite assignments. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management with 0–3 years of related experience, and

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel nationwide for long-term onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
• Assist Project Manager(s) in managing projects under direct supervision.
• Support development and tracking of project performance metrics, budgets, and cost controls.
• Assist with cost tracking, labor tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, engineers, vendors, and data center stakeholders.
• Support material procurement, submittals, and equipment tracking.
• Assist in subcontractor management and contract compliance.
• Maintain project documentation including cost reporting, budgeting, billing, and scheduling records.
• Assist with federal/state agency correspondence and reporting.
