Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project execution by planning, organizing, and implementing core project management practices for substation and transmission work.

You will work closely with project teams and the Project Manager to ensure scope, schedule, and budgets are monitored and achieved, while gaining hands-on experience on national infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with job cost tracking and estimating software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the company by embracing evolving responsibilities and technical challenges.
• Ability to travel and commit to long-term onsite project assignments, including in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution by planning, organizing, and implementing core project management principles for substation and transmission work.
• Work closely with project teams and Project Manager to ensure scope, schedule, and budgets are monitored and achieved.
• Gain hands-on experience in substation-specific work scopes and safety practices.
• Contribute to maintaining project documentation and reporting to stakeholders.
