Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Data Center Power Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee engineering scope, schedule, and budget for greenfield, brownfield, and retrofit data center power projects. Based in Richmond, VA with a hybrid work arrangement, you will lead concurrent distribution, substation, and transmission efforts to enable reliable high- and medium-voltage power delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field or 10+ years in substations design/delivery.
• 10+ years in consulting engineering or construction of substations.
• 5+ years as lead engineer, design manager, or project manager for transmission/substation projects.
• 5+ years in data center engineering or construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle from concept through turnover for data center power infra projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget with internal/external resources.
• Coordinate multiple distribution, substation, and transmission projects.
• Lead meetings with utilities and stakeholders to align design and delivery.
• Ensure quality and adherence to performance metrics across deliverables.
• Support development and deployment of new power infrastructure technologies.
