Job summary

Apex Multifamily Builders in Houston is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning. You will oversee schedule, budget, subcontractors, owner relationships, and commissioning teams to deliver mission-critical facilities.

The role requires data center project management with a track record on complex, multimillion-dollar builds, Procore proficiency, and a focus on safety, schedule adherence, and quality.

Qualifications

• Data center / mission-critical PM experience required.
• Experience managing $5M+ project budgets.
• Procore proficiency; P6/MS Project preferred.
• Knowledge of data center Tier standards (Uptime Institute).
• OSHA 30 certification required; current preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout on data center projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and cost controls; forecast variances to ownership.
• Lead weekly OAC and coordination meetings and commissioning planning sessions.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, commissioning agents, and equipment vendors on critical systems.
• Drive RFIs, submittals, and change orders with discipline and speed on the critical path.
• Ensure safety and quality control standards on-site; meet Tier requirements.
• Build strong owner/client relationships; be the face of Apex on projects.
