Job summary

MGAC’s Fort Wayne team seeks a Data Center Construction- Mid to Senior Project Manager to lead critical environments projects on-site. The role requires 4+ years in construction PM, with 2+ years in data centers and 3+ years in telecom/low-voltage, plus MEP in ground-up builds.

You will manage design collaborations (Autodesk/Procore), coordinate with EORs and subs, and drive risk, scope, and budget to meet client goals in a collaborative, growth-focused firm.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or equivalent in construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years in critical environment construction (data centers, labs, hospitals).
• 3+ years focused on project management in telecommunications, low-voltage and fiber optics construction.
• 2+ years of MEP experience in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full scope of projects while coordinating components of others.
• Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
• Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Achieve and maintain the client’s vision as a trusted partner.
• Design Management across Autodesk/Procore, file structure, compliance, schedules, QA/QC.
• Lead design coordination across partners; VE discussions and information sharing.
• Oversee design-related construction administration and coordination with EORs, subs, and GC.
• Support change management, cost impact reviews, and tenant/customer design integration.
• Liaise between PM/CM teams and A&E partners.
