Job summary

IREN is seeking a Project Manager – Permitting (Air & Water) for its Kiowa, OK campus. You will own the environmental permitting workstream for data center delivery, securing air and water permits and ensuring they are integrated into design and operations from day one.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in environmental permitting, a related degree, and experience with regulatory agencies. Strong communication and project controls skills are essential, with a willingness to work onsite in a

Qualifications

5–8 years in environmental permitting, compliance or project management for industrial or data center projects.
Degree in environmental engineering/science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience securing air permits for stationary combustion sources and water/ wastewater permits.
Ability to read and interpret site, civil, mechanical and electrical drawings.
Strong ability to document and communicate permitting risks, schedule and budget to leadership.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain campus permitting matrix and schedule for air and water permits.
Integrate permit milestones into the master project schedule and control risks.
Advise leadership on permitting pathways, trade-offs and design implications.
Maintain the permitting risk register and mitigation actions.
