Job summary

GBA is seeking a Data Center Owner's Representative to serve as the Owner's trusted partner from design through turnover. You will lead Owner-side activities, coordinate with A&E firms, general contractors, and operations teams, and manage risk and value on mission-critical data center programs.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of MEP and civil/structural systems, strong financial and contractual acumen, and regional/national travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in progressive construction oversight.
• Direct experience overseeing projects $100M+ with fast-track delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Owner-side project meetings, steering committees, and milestone reviews.
• Review design Development documents for alignment with Owner standards and resiliency goals.
• Oversee construction administration: submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Provide technical oversight in evaluating MEP and civil/structural systems.
• Monitor invoices, pay apps, and budget performance; report to executives.
• Ensure turnover package includes as-builts, O&M manuals, and training for operations.
