Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data center operations or a similar environment.
• Experience with racking, cabling, and stacking equipment.
• Ability to work outside normal hours; shift work as needed.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Break-Fix: work outside of normal hours including nights and weekends when needed.
• Remote Hands: install, test, and document data center equipment per MOPs and vendor specs.
• Cabling: install and troubleshoot Ethernet and fiber cables and connectors.
• Optical Testing and Troubleshooting: test and diagnose 10/100G circuits with equipment.
• Site Audits: document equipment placement and cable lengths; provide feedback.
• Racking and Stacking: organize hardware in racks per SOPs.
• Decommissioning: safely remove outdated hardware.
• Hardware Replacement: replace transport routers, servers, switches.
• Power Management: manage power feeds and ATS; optimize hot/cold aisles.
• Documentation: read cut-sheets for network installation and port mapping.
• AC and DC Power Equipment: maintain power equipment.
• Oversight of 3rd parties on-site activities.
