Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on data center experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Break-Fix: Work outside normal hours including nights/weekends when needed.
• Remote Hands: Install/test data center equipment per MOPs.
• Cabling: Install and troubleshoot Ethernet and fiber cables.
• Optical testing: Use optical test equipment to verify 10/100G circuits.
• Site Audits: Validate equipment placement and cabling, document results.
• Racking and Stacking: Install and organize hardware in racks.
• Decommissioning: Safely remove outdated hardware following protocols.
• Hardware Replacement: Replace faulty network & IT hardware.
• Power Management: Manage power feeds and ATS.
• Documentation: Read cut-sheets and ensure correct port connections.
• AC/DC Power Equipment: Maintain power equipment.
• Oversee 3rd parties on-site activities.
