Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to join our CMH58 site in Ohio. You will be responsible for daily rounds, monitoring BMS/EPMS, and hands-on troubleshooting of critical data center infrastructure to sustain high reliability and uptime.

This role requires flexibility for shift rotations and on-site collaboration with contractors. You will help maintain diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and related equipment while following safety

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• Flex schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance, or 1+ years of mechanical facilities

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• On-site support of contractors and vendors ensuring compliance with practices and local regulations
