Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Manager of Data Center Operations to lead both Mainframe and Distributed Data Center teams in a dynamic, global setting. You will drive service delivery excellence, mentor staff, and influence technical strategy while working with clients and cross-functional teams.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure SLAs are met, and push for continuous improvements in security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mainframe operations with leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field
• Proven ability to lead teams in 24/7 mission-critical environments
• Willingness to work overnight/3rd shift as required
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
• Experience with Mainframe Operations technologies (z/OS, CICS, CA7) and distributed batch environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor data center operations staff across Mainframe and Distributed environments
• Ensure SLA targets are met through strong service delivery governance
• Drive continuous improvements in operations, security, and compliance
• Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders to align on priorities
• Hire, train, and develop staff to meet future needs
• Balance workloads and optimize resource allocation across shifts
