Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Manager, Data Center Operations to lead both Mainframe and Distributed Data Center Operations across multiple technologies. The role requires mentoring teams, coordinating with customers and management, and driving service excellence in a 24/7 environment.

The position offers remote work within the United States with in-person collaboration; the candidate should be comfortable working across a global team matrix and shaping technical strategy.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in mainframe operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a 24/7, mission-critical environment.
• Ability to work overnight/3rd shift as required.
• Strong leadership and technical background in managing Mainframe and Distributed batch environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mainframe and Distributed Data Center Operations teams across multiple technologies.
• Mentor Associates and provide leadership on complex technical issues as required.
• Prioritize workloads and coordinate with customers and management.
• Influence technical strategy and hire Data Center Operators.
• Drive continuous service improvement and governance of operations.
