Job summary

SpaceXSI Memphis seeks a Data Center Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, overseeing server and network infrastructure across data centers and global PoPs. You will drive operational excellence, improve MTTR/MTTD, and coordinate with engineering for seamless hardware intake and repairs.

The role requires hands‑on leadership, SOP development, and strong collaboration across teams to ensure reliable data center operations and enhanced performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• 5+ years with server, storage, compute, and network hardware.
• 5+ years troubleshooting servers and networking infrastructure.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in data center/tech ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server and network infrastructure.
• Manage data center operations, including power cabling, fiber labeling, and hardware decommissioning.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with engineering and provisioning teams for hardware intake and repair processes.
• Use Jira for data center tickets and ensure timely resolution and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design network layouts and solutions.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide on‑call support for critical events.
