CyrusOne is seeking a Critical Environments Operator to join a 24/7/365 Operations & Maintenance team responsible for keeping mission-critical data center infrastructure running at peak reliability.

You will operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systems, respond to alarms, and perform preventive maintenance following SOPs and MOPs, while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Level I requires 0–2 years in data center O&M or related roles.
• Level II requires 3–5 years in Tier 2–4 data centers or technical facility maintenance.
• Level III requires 5–7 years of data center or building engineering experience.
• Level IV requires 7+ years with journeyman/master level expertise; HVAC license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor data center mechanical, electrical, and HVAC/R systems to ensure uptime.
• Respond to alarms with priority for critical load protection and safety.
• Perform preventive maintenance following SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and MMRs.
• Use CMMS to track work orders, labor hours, and PMs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; enforce safety protocols.
• Lead senior-level activities: mentor juniors and oversee critical switching.
