Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking a data center Operations & Maintenance professional to work under the Sr Facility Manager in a 24/7 environment. You will perform maintenance and operations tasks to ensure reliability of the critical load and coordinate with contractors.

The role requires hands-on skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC/R disciplines, proficiency with CMMS and MS Office, and the ability to adapt to extended on-call hours during emergencies such as hurricanes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or HVAC/R training program required; 3–5 years in Tier 2–4 Data Center operations or related O&M roles.
• Familiarity with Work Order Control procedures and CMMS.
• Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management.
• Experience with KPIs and capacity planning.
• Able to use hand tools, test equipment, and maintenance shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned Operations & Maintenance tasks in the Data Center and any non-DC space(s).
• Follow building rules and use CMMS to track maintenance work, labor hours, PMs and tickets.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project work.
• Respond to alarms prioritizing preservation of the critical load and safe operations.
• Implement safety measures like lockout/tagout and maintain safe working areas.
• Provide equipment evaluations or scope recommendations for outside contractors.
