The position runs for 12+ months with a high likelihood of extension or conversion, paying $42–$44 per hour on W2. Ideal candidates bring hands-on data center experience and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on data center experience.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cable management and hardware operations.
• Basic knowledge of IP configuration, networking, and hardware components.
• Able to lift 40-50 lbs and work safely in a physical environment.
• Strong documentation and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, and storage hardware in a physical data center environment.
• Perform cable management, power distribution, and hardware installation tasks.
• Support hardware deployments, moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning activities.
• Investigate infrastructure issues and assist with troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure data center environment, adhering to safety and security protocols.
