Job summary

H5 Data Centers, LLC is seeking a VP of Operations to lead day-to-day and strategic direction of our colocation facilities. You will report to the SVP Operations and drive reliability, security, and service delivery while championing continuous improvement.

The role requires overseeing infrastructure, budgets, risk management, and a customer-focused operating culture across multiple sites. Strong leadership and data center expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 7+ years in data center operations management with leadership experience.
• Experience with P&L management and vendor negotiations.
• In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, HVAC, networking, security).
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across teams.
• Certifications like CDCDP or CDCMP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for operational functions of colocation data centers.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee maintenance of physical infrastructure including power, cooling, networking, and security.
• Ensure service availability and meet SLAs; optimize service delivery and KPI performance.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and other standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing teams; define roles and expectations.
