Job summary

RCG, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Team Lead in Washington, DC. This full-time, on-site role oversees Tier 3 Service Desk and Data Center operations, ensuring availability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure.

A Top-Secret clearance is required and employment is contingent on government approvals. The candidate will lead daily and after-hours operations, coordinate hardware and OS upgrades, and monitor metrics for the Program Manager, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance required.
• 8+ years of hands-on IT experience including at least 3 years in a technical lead or team lead role.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT and/or Data Center operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Government's daily and after-hours point of contact for overall management and coordination of work under the task.
• Lead Tier 3 Service Desk and Data Center support.
• Provide operational reports, status updates, and performance metrics to the Program Manager.
• Coordinate and support hardware and OS upgrades.
• Manage data distribution and storage activities; oversee backup processes.
• Implement and maintain physical and logical security measures to protect the Data Center.
• Provide daily Tier 3 IT Data Center operations and administration services (systems administration, monitoring, change/configuration management, release management, provisioning, security)
• Support Data Center communications infrastructure and hardware (switches, routers, servers, SAN, firewalls, VPN)
