Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Assistant Manager in Auburn, AL to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and support of HPC infrastructure within a data center environment.

The role requires 4 years of data center experience and a supervisory background, with a strong understanding of network, electrical, and building systems. On-site work with occasional travel is expected; a valid license is required.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• 4 years of experience in a data center environment are required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Data Center Manager with deployments, decommissions, and staff training.
• Oversee warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and quality control.
• Assist with Asset Lifecycle Management from arrival to RMA retirement.
• Record received inventory and deployment deliveries accurately.
• Plan deployments considering capacity, power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
• Assist with labor management for site standup, move-ins, or decommissions.
• Contribute to setting performance goals and metrics for the data center.
• Ensure staff training and clear, professional communication across teams.
