Job summary

Google Pryor operates a data center team focused on server hardware installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will lead a group of Data Center Technicians, oversee complex installations, and drive reliability across the hardware stack in a high-demand environment.

You will collaborate with vendor and internal teams, manage shifts and on-call schedules, and ensure security and safety compliance while delivering scalable infrastructure at Google's Pryor facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Data Center Technicians and set priorities.
• Partner with teams to meet facility goals and strategies.
• Maintain, monitor, and execute security and operational procedures and analyze trends for improvements.
• Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
• Support and contribute to EHS and compliance programs with other teams.
