Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Manager, Data Center to lead a skilled team in installing, maintaining, and supporting critical data center infrastructure. The role focuses on keeping systems safe, reliable, and compliant while guiding a team through facilities operations and ongoing projects.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline and 6+ years of hands-on data center experience, plus 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in science, technology, engineering, electronics, or related discipline.
• Trade/apprenticeship training or discipline-specific licenses/certifications considered for equivalent experience alignment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency of Spectrum’s network and facility systems.
• Guide and empower a team handling installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of data center equipment and infrastructure.
• Ensure cabling, equipment installation, power, cooling, and environmental systems meet corporate standards and engineering practices.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, operational checks, testing, and documentation for compliance.
• Manage upgrades and support for critical infrastructure including power, HVAC, generators, fire suppression, and monitoring systems.
