Everforth Apex seeks a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer to maintain and operate critical electrical and mechanical systems at our Andrews, TX facility. You will manage daily operations, safety, reliability, and efficiency while coordinating with technicians, vendors, and IT leaders.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, rapid response to issues, and collaboration across teams to optimize capacity and risk management in a demanding data-center environment.

Qualifications

• Requires foundational experience or training in electrical systems (power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS) and mechanical systems (cooling infrastructure)
• High school diploma required; technical degree or Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering acceptable
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational skills and attention to detail are essential

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure (switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU, chillers, cooling towers)
• Support routine and emergency maintenance for critical systems
• Coordinate work by technicians, subcontractors, and vendors
• Support vendor management, asset tracking and inventory management
• Establish operational benchmarks and assist with analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with IT managers and business leaders on capacity, safety, reliability, and efficiency projects
• Assist with facility improvements, equipment upgrades and build-out projects
