Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an Operating Engineer S2 - Critical Environments for an on-site role in Allen, TX. The candidate will focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment across electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years related work experience in data center/critical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance of building systems to ensure uptime (fire/life safety, HVAC, electrical, water systems).
• Operate and troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems; manage alarms and incidents.
• Perform work orders, CMMS updates, and vendor/customer-facing tickets; assist with emergency procedures.
