Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Network Install Technicians to help transform our network infrastructure.

You will move and install large enterprise equipment, run fiber and copper cabling, and ensure safety during installations while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a data-center environment. Ideal candidates have 18+ months in data centers or similar roles, knowledge of copper/fiber cabling, and IT field credentials.

Qualifications

• Experience with network hardware including copper and optical fiber cabling.
• 18+ months in data center or critical environment roles.
• Experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT field; CCENT/Network+/CCNA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area is required.
