Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join the infrastructure operations team. You will work with minimal supervision to drive stability and scale in our network, installing and upgrading hardware while improving automation.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of experience in hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations or technical project management.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA, CCENT or Network+ are preferred.
• Knowledge of cable installation, testing equipment and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cables.
• Ensure safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
