Job summary

ZP group is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to build, support, and maintain secure computing environments used for operational missions. This contract-to-hire role is located in RTP, NC and requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter‑Intelligence Polygraph.

Hybrid work arrangement is available. The engineer will deploy and manage Windows, Linux, and Unix systems, support VMware vSphere, ensure compliance with NISPOM/ICD/DIACAP, and develop SSP/POA&M documentation while

Qualifications

Experience with DoD 8570-compliant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, or GSE).
Experience supporting DIACAP, NISPOM, and ICD compliance.

Responsibilities

Building, supporting, and maintaining secure computing environments used in operational settings.
Deploying and administering Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
Supporting VMware vSphere virtualization in a data center environment.
Securing systems to meet NISPOM, ICD, and DIACAP requirements.
Assisting in SSP/POA&M documentation creation and maintenance.
Configuring and troubleshooting network functions in a classified environment.
Performing routine network administration (routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure).
