Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services (ENS) team is seeking a Network Engineer to help design and deploy data center networks, with emphasis on cabling, fiber, BMS, and automated tooling. You will work across construction, design, and connectivity teams to deliver robust infrastructure that scales with our growing data centers.

The role requires 7+ years designing large-scale data center networks, strong knowledge of cabling/fiber, and programming experience (Python/Go/C++).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years designing and deploying large-scale data center network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure and design standards.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on large data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Support data center construction and network deployment across greenfield sites and retrofits.
• Collaborate on network infrastructure design packages and deployment solutions.
• Act as SME for physical infrastructure and building management system (BMS) networks.
• Develop automation and tooling to drive consistency and efficiency in design, deployment, and operations.
