Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services (ENS) team seeks a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize data center infrastructure with a focus on cable and fiber connectivity. You will work with construction, design, and software teams to ensure alignment with design intent and tooling, while driving automation.

The role emphasizes large-scale data center experience, cross-functional leadership, and a proactive approach to scalable, secure networks and facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years designing and deploying large-scale data center network infrastructure.
• Experience with structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure and industry standards.
• Understanding of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Support data center construction and network deployment across greenfield sites, collocations, and retrofits.
• Collaborate to generate network infrastructure design packages for deployment teams.
• Act as SME for physical infrastructure, BMS, and related networks in the data center.
• Partner with software teams to ensure Fiber Infrastructure Management tooling reflects design intent.
• Lead strategic initiatives to drive efficiency and standardization through coding and automation.
• Perform site visits with construction teams to validate cabling and builds to Meta standards.
