Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure, including network hardware, server deployment, and cable management. You will execute deployments from detailed port maps and ensure accuracy in rack, stack, and cabling per documented designs.

The role requires independence in fast-paced environments, experience with Linux, and familiarity with Cisco gear. Travel to nearby sites and proactive problem solving are expected.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on data center, remote hands, or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, or similar).
• Experience supporting Cisco network equipment; CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support data center operations and IT systems to deliver customer products and services.
• Provide technical, operational and administrative support for colocation, connectivity, server hardware and network services.
• Read, interpret, and execute deployments from infrastructure spreadsheets and A-Z port maps.
