Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Director for a large-scale data center project in Central Kentucky with daily per diem. This seasoned leader will oversee all phases of construction, including budgeting, risk management, and on-site coordination for a ~1,200 electrician workforce.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mission-critical environments, strong leadership, and proficiency in project management software. PMP or equivalent is a plus, with comprehensive company benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in driving project schedules in mission critical environments.
• Proven experience with mission critical, hyperscale, EV, or relatable projects from an electrical perspective.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the execution of complex, large scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will have oversight of roughly 1,200 Electricians.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Oversee the project budgeting process, including cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate and manage onsite activities, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a positive team environment, providing guidance, support, and leadership to your team members.
• Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Continually assess project performance, implementing changes as necessary to ensure project success.
