Job summary

TierPoint, LLC. is seeking an MEP Technician II with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot data center infrastructure.

The role involves installation, testing, and documentation of power and cooling systems, with on-site duties in Dallas and after-hours support as needed. The ideal candidate will bring experience in UPS, switchgear, diesel generators, and PLC controls, and will be comfortable coordinating with vendors and TierPoint personnel to ensure 24/7

Qualifications

• Strong ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment.
• Experience with 100% uptime data centers or critical facilities is preferred.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service for internal and external customers in line with company values.
• Proactively manage ticket queues and complete assigned projects.
• Install and terminate network, access control and communications wiring.
• Support power infrastructure deployment and remote hands for client issues.
• Record and maintain power metrics and system documentation.
• Respond to 24x7 operational issues including after-hours coverage.
