Job summary

Vallum Associates in Houston seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead field execution of a major data center project. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls activities with project leadership and trade partners to ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on driving sequencing, safety and quality, and guiding commissioning across L1-L5 stages. Data center experience is highly preferred and Houston-based work is onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MEP field execution in technically complex environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution, HVAC, controls, and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades in a fast-paced project.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day MEP field execution with project leadership.
• Coordinate major MEP subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Drive sequencing, short-term planning and milestones.
• Manage installation of major electrical and mechanical systems.
• Resolve coordination and constructability issues.
• Maintain schedule, safety and quality standards.
• Support LOTO, energization and system startup.
• Coordinate commissioning through L1-L5.
• Develop field leadership and Assistant Superintendents.
