Job summary

Yates Construction is seeking a highly experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee full lifecycle MEP activities for mission-critical data center projects in the Southeast. The role requires leadership from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in field MEP on large projects, including data centers, with proficiency in Procore and BIM 360. Travel and strong coordination skills are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field MEP leadership on large commercial projects.
• 3+ years on mission-critical or data center projects.
• Experience from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
• Familiarity with Southeast U.S. codes and markets.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate on-site MEP activities to meet milestones and budget.
• Lead daily field walks and coordination meetings with subs and internal teams.
• Enforce safety protocols, site logistics, and installation quality.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts across trades.
• Collaborate with BIM/VDC and commissioning teams on sequencing and performance.
• Oversee system start-up, testing, and turnover documentation.
