Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Project Manager I with MEP experience to join our Jackson, MS team. The role focuses on coordinating design and engineering efforts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring project scope alignment across trades.

The successful candidate will oversee cost analysis, procurement, and contract administration while maintaining safety and quality standards on site. A strong leadership approach and prior MEP project exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of ten years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets and email applications; use programs for calculating loads and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management tasks for MEP-focused construction projects from initiation to closeout.
• Coordinate design and engineering efforts; monitor financial status and subcontract administration.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Ensure on-site safety program compliance and communicate with the team to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Supervise drafting and administrative staff; visit job sites to review progress and quality.
