Job summary

Gray Construction seeks an experienced Project Manager, MEP for the Manufacturing Market in Charlotte, NC. The role leads design, procurement, and construction efforts for complex MEP systems, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.

The successful candidate will manage subcontractors, coordinate with design and engineering teams, and uphold Gray's safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years related experience or equivalent
• Knowledge of mechanical, piping or electrical trades
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and email applications
• Energetic, self-motivated team player with collaboration focus
• Visa Sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design and engineering efforts; monitor financial status and subcontracts
• Participate in estimating process and review subcontractor proposals
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors; ensure scope defined
• Review subcontractor documents for scope compliance
• Award subcontracts and monitor procurement of materials for MEP divisions
• Oversee project schedule to align construction with MEP plan
• Visit job sites to review progress and quality of work
• Enforce Gray safety program on site
• Support monthly Red File report for MEP
• Supervise on-site drafting and administrative staff related to project
