Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5–10+ years of experience managing MEP or mission-critical construction projects in data centers.
• Experience in financial firms is preferred due to live data center environment.
• This is an MEP role, not telecom or software development.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary project lead for mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure CAPEX initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status updates; manage procurement (RFPs, bids, vendor selection, contracts).
• Coordinate with internal engineering, data center operations, MEP consultants, and third-party service providers to align with EDC standards.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and safety systems.
• Manage CAPEX budget and assist with vendor payments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and governance requirements; support SLA/KPI commitments.
• Maintain documentation, change management, and meeting cadence; support sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, WiredScore).
• Partner with operations teams for seamless handover to steady state operations.
