Job summary

Apollo Mission Critical Engineering is seeking a Data Center MEP Construction & Commissioning Support Engineer for an onsite, client-facing role to assist GC/EC/MC teams in data center construction and commissioning. The position focuses on removing constraints, accelerating progress, and coordinating trades across complex builds.

The role requires travel to client locations (approximately 90%+), hands-on field duties, inspections, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of field experience in data center or MEP systems.
• Ability to execute onsite tasks, document findings, and drive action closures.
• Ability to read drawings and coordinate subcontractors.
• Comfort in client environments with high expectations and tight timelines.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Excel trackers.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily field walks and verifying installation progress against drawings, specifications, and execution plans.
• Inspect Product, Material and Equipment as it arrives onsite to ensure compliance with client submittals and specifications.
• Tracking and documenting installation status of MEP systems, life safety, and network architecture, identifying gaps, and escalating constraints.
• Performing inspections on materials, equipment, and deliveries to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supporting field execution planning by confirming prerequisites and helping maintain look-ahead schedules.
