Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an MEP Engineer in Youngstown, OH to oversee design, installation, and field coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for high-reliability data centers. This on-site role drives BIM/MEP coordination, ensures strict adherence to design specs, and manages commissioning to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of MEP experience, a engineering degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of MEP engineering/construction experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting/controls, plumbing and fire protection.
• Familiarity with data center, biotech/pharma and commercial construction requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review MEP designs, schematics and submittals for data center facilities.
• Lead 3D BIM/Revit clash detection and trade coordination with teams and subs.
• Manage site inspections and field installation per codes and project specs.
• Coordinate load calculations, power distribution and HVAC solutions for data centers.
• Support commissioning, testing and balancing for power and cooling systems.
• Respond to RFIs, review drawings, resolve conflicts and maintain quality control.
