Epic in Rochester, MN is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to join the hosting services team. You will maintain and improve a critical data center with a primary focus on mechanical systems, including HVAC chillers and cooling towers, ensuring reliable, continuous operation.

This role requires reading mechanical and electrical plans, strong self-direction, and the ability to work with remote SMEs. relocation assistance is provided for the right candidate, with year-round, full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial mechanical systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a data center facility with a focus on HVAC equipment.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Manage building needs including plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans; work independently or with SMEs.
• Take ownership of the building to uphold high facility standards.
