Job summary

Epic is seeking a Facilities Technician to join the Hosting team in Rochester, MN. The role focuses on operating and maintaining a data center's mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, and cooling towers, with an emphasis on reliability and proactive maintenance.

You will read mechanical and electrical plans, prioritize work, and coordinate with remote experts when needed. Relocation assistance is provided and generous rewards accompany performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, self-directed approach
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans
• 3 years' experience with commercial mechanical systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the data center facility, focusing on mechanical systems such as HVAC equipment, chillers and cooling towers; monitor performance, diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Own the building's general needs including plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems; handle basic building maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans; identify issues, prioritize work, and engage remote SMEs as needed.
