Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 1–2 years of related experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Effective communication skills to exchange information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on facility mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
• Assist with modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders; estimate time and materials; track completion.
• Support energy management to keep systems efficient.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and items for work orders.
• Inspect installations for codes and safety compliance.
• Follow defined procedures; operate under supervision and guidance.
