Job summary

Big-D Mission Critical is seeking an Assistant Mechanical Superintendent to help plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical construction activities on complex data center projects in Reno, NV. You will work with the Mechanical Superintendent to oversee field operations, safety, quality, and schedule adherence for critical mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of related experience working on commercial construction projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting mechanical scopes on data center projects and large commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support on mechanical scopes on data center projects
• Support safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination
• Represents the company in meetings and interfaces with project stakeholders
• Coordinates and directs all subcontractor and vendors
• Establish goals with the project team and develop accountability
• Oversee productivity of crafts, and proper use of materials and equipment
• Verify subcontractor completion of assigned scope of work
• Learn and adapt to changes in the industry
