Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Technical Program Manager to oversee the design of facility upgrades and retrofits for mission critical environments. You will assemble design teams, coordinate with external partners, and drive a shared execution plan aligned with construction activities.

The role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, and large-scale facility projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Need industrial or commercial HVAC experience.
• Master's Degree and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with evaporative and air-based process chilled water cooling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design of mechanical system upgrades for data center facilities.
• Lead internal and external design teams and manage execution plans.
• Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies; communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver optimized program communication plans and reports.
• Define program governance, milestones, and OKRs across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with operations, construction, and product teams to ensure successful delivery.
