Job summary

Appleton Finn is seeking a Mechanical / MEP Estimator to join its Data Center Preconstruction team across North America. You will perform take-offs, pricing and subcontractor engagement for hyperscale and mission-critical projects.

Working with senior leaders, you will help secure major data center developments and advance your career in a high-growth contractor with competitive pay, bonus, and a strong ESOP program.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Experience producing quantity take-offs and competitive estimates.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced bid-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commercial/industrial, mission-critical, or data center experience preferred.
• Ambitious with career progression within a high-growth business.

• Engage subcontractors and support bid preparation.
• Collaborate with senior preconstruction leaders on complex bids.
