Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Mission Critical Mechanical Engineering SME to provide principal-level advice on system selection and market trends for data center projects. You will mentor internal staff and interact with clients to shape winning strategies, including proposals and engineering approaches.

Some travel to project sites and client meetings is required. The role supports Arcadis's data center portfolio and requires strong leadership in a multidisciplinary, global team.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in data center Mechanical Engineering.
• PE Registration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in client contact, connections, and finding opportunities, increasing the mission critical work that Arcadis performs.
• Provide expert consultant mechanical engineering advice to clients in the data center space.
• Familiarity with industry standards and building codes as they apply to data centers and evolving mission critical requirements.
• Guide pros and cons of system types and rack cooling strategies.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
